[1937], reprint of 1871 text with special type, paper and illustrations. Red and blue pattern paper-covered boards, hc, 8vo (22 cm), 90 pp with red top edges, humorous woodcuts in red; blue-gray cardboard slipcase with title pastedown. History and anecdotes of bundling - sharing a bed, for whatever reasons. Despite the title, this social history includes England and Ireland, Wales, Holland, Switzerland and "The Savage Nations." Very good/good: lightly bumped, spine tanned, small dot p. 6 otherwise no markings, last few pages unopened; slipcase corners worn with boards showing and tear on spine, lightly scuffed.
