Marbled paper boards with red leather spine and corners, red marbled endpapers, red and black title page, 332 rough cut pages, 33 bw plates of artwork including frontispiece photogravure. Good (binding is fair but interior is in excellent condition): cover worn with most of leather missing from spine (revealing interesting layers down to red cloth and mesh), rear hinge cracked; front gutter cracked in front of half title, interior pages tight, clean and unmarked, a few pages in the back uncut.

Good/Fair and Good/Poor: Some prints have checkmark on the white border, 2 are stapled, minor bumping; boxes are cracked and Iranian/Islamic box is missing one flap.
