Written for the stage, this book of historical costume details would be useful for re-enactors as well. Topics include Egyptian, Greek, Biblical, Roman, Byzantine, Gothic, Renaissance, Elizabethan, Commonwealth, Restoration, Georgian, Empire... and New Century. A final chapter gives tips for the costumer, or "construction of costume."
