Early accounts of American Indians, French, explorations, charters, statistics, 1703 census of New York City, and names of inhabitants of select cities (including names of females, "Negroes" and Indians in Long Island in 1698). Good (ex-lib)/no DJ: ex-library with minor markings including bookplate and pocket residue, small markings on title page, binder's note pasted to TOC, final map "Sauthier's Map of the Province of New York in 1779" torn out but for a corner, some closed edge tears, ink marking p. 494, heavy tanning pp 509-510.
