Horizontal 8vo (21.5 by 28 cm), paper cover bound with cord, embossed lettering and color pastedown on front, cloth "tissue paper" over title page, unnumbered pages, 32 color plates. Beautiful color illustrations of the Southwest along the Sante Fe Railroad around the turn of the century, a mix of colorized photographs and paintings, including the Grand Canyon and other natural sites, American Indians and their homes, and trains in scenic passages. Good+: covers lighty scuffed with edges more heavily bumped with small tears, title covering chipped on edge, pages corner bumped, first print foxed or stained at top, no writing.
