Green floral on white paper boards with brown and blue title plate on front, 12mo (4 7/8 by 6 3/4 inches), 282 pp with index and list of illustrations. About 258 line illustrations, mostly sites around Florence and maps, some taken from 14th century images. VG: corners very lightly bumped, paper tear at bottom of spine (about half inch); po name in brown ink on ffep, otherwise unmarked, various levels of foxing on pages with no loss of readability.
